Youth Lesson

Krissman International Tennis offers the most comprehensive kids tennis Instruction programs available in Tokyo today with over 30 years experience teaching children of all ages and levels. No matter what your level, we have a spot for you.

  • Little Tennis: (Ages 3-7) The United States Professional Tennis Association affiliated program featuring soft balls and mini racquets as it introduces basic hand to eye co-ordination skills, fun games and first stage socialization into group activities that kids love! (see feature article)

  • Basic Beginners: An introduction to the basic skills and hand to eye coordination skills using semi-soft balls and down-sized racquets.

  • Beginners: Players of any age will begin to learn the basic strokes of forehand / backhand / serve / return / volley / rules and scoring

  • Advanced-Beginners: This course is designed for players who have previously taken some instruction and will review the strokes, concentrating on smashing, lobbing, rallying, and consistent serving. Players will also learn about game play, and an introduction to strategy and sportsmanship.

  • Intermediate: Will work on game type rally’s, serve & return, the “Attacking Game” (serve & volley) and other core strategies.

  • Advanced: Players work on footwork, play action type drills, tournament level conditioning, advanced strategy and tactics.
